Saturday, October 10th, 2009:  1.45 Qualifier of the European Youngster Cup U25

Premiere Victory for Turkey in the European Youngster Cup! Stefanie Bistan (AUT) places 3rd.

His victory was a sensation! Today, Derin Demirsoy at the European Youngster Cup had all eyes on him, not only because of his youth, he is only 15 years old, but also because of his splendid performance in the course.
Riding his 10 year old Murano-son named Surprise, he showed that he has talent, speed and an innate feeling for distances. This brought him to the attention of the expert public. Further, he had the only clear round of all the participants. There were a total of 12 4-fault rounds in what had been a starting field of 37 hopeful young talents. The fastest of these made it to 2nd and 3rd place. One of them was Philipp Schober (GER), who had ridden the fastest round on his 11-year old mare Love Dance, and then also Austrian young talent Stefanie Bistan, who delivered a splendid performance once more on her 16-year old grey gelding named Carrera.
